Yves Idinu Ngwaba was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Africa. After completing secondary school, he began university but was unable to continue past his second year due to financial challenges and lack of support.

From a young age, Idinu was inspired by legendary artists such as Papa Wemba, Kester Emeneya, Koffi Olomidé, Lokwa Kanza, Michael Jackson, Tupac, and the Wenge Generation, all of whom greatly influenced his musical journey.

He began singing in church and later performed with local bands in Kinshasa, Angola, and Namibia.
